Default Rock Chuck Screw requires lots of torque to open it after use

For those that have a Rock Chuck...

Once done with a bit, I can barely get the clamping screw to release. I have had to start putting a wrench on the T-handle hex to get it to release.

I would remove the screw, clean the entire chuck and put a little lube on the screw and see if that helps.

Well, right or wrong, I removed the screw, and cleaned out the inside with carb cleaner. Then I coated the threads of the screw with 3-in-1 oil. May go ahead and head up to the local hardware store and get a couple of spares.
    Thanks,
    Dave
