    Default Z axis stall

My cut motor quit mid project. I've replaced it with a new one. Now, as soon as I select a project I get a z axis stall. I tested the board sensors at "0" and "8" on the control panel. X and Y are fine. As soon as I hit the test key for z I get the z axis stall message. I tried to check the cut motor. When I try to test, I get the same z axis stall message. ????

You should check the connection of the FFC ribbon wire where it connects to the Z motor. You may pulled on the ribbon when you changed the cut motor.

I bumped it and it fell out when I changed the motor. I replaced it and got errors.

There you go! You need to get in there and get it connected properly again.

Replaced the upper end of the cable multiple times and no change. Noticed that the bottom connection was slightly askew. Reattached it properly and all works great now. Thanks for the help.
