Thread: Flash Card Unreadable (6)

    Default Flash Card Unreadable (6)

I got about 70% of my project re-carved this morning (after I restarted it after a stop at about 52% for a Z Axis Stall) before the machine quit again. The message is "Please re-format your flash card and upload your project again. Flash card unreadable (6)". I plugged the flash card into the computer of course and YES the computer could read the flash card. It is always exciting to have the CNC machine stop in the middle of a carve and come up with a new trouble code. In addition to solving the problem it also gives one another opportunity to see if the machine can be restarted without loosing the whole project.

Has anyone else seen this message? What did you do?

You should be able to restart the project. It will "air carve" until you get to where it stopped, then just continue carving. Make sure that when you restart it the truck is over an un-carved area.
