Default Credit where credit is due

I just completed this sign and of course the project is not completed until it is panted.
Like someone said "cabinets are just boxes until you paint or finish them".
So I designed and carved , sanded and painted the white paint, but the very hard part is the lettering.
My wife, as usual, did the finishing touches for me again.
It is made out of poplar and I hated to even paint this beautiful wood.
    check it out.
Last but not least is my artist and wife.

It's great to have a talented partner that is willing to work as hard as you to make the products. Kathy does all of the painting on our stuff. I couldn't even begin to do it. Some days she sits and paints for 6 or 8 hours straight.

I agree with you that the natural look is really beautiful. As they say, always the 'but' part. Seeing the finished product that accents the different areas makes me have to say the finished product is awesome. Together you've created a product that anyone would be proud to have.
    Thx for sharing,

i really love the scales of justice, where did you find that pattern? It's amazing how it's carved flat, but yet looks 3 dimensional with appropriate shading and paint. Excellent work as usual.

Thank all for the comments, the sign was a simple one, it took my wife over 3 hours to paint the "v" groove text with some very fine brushes. She has a lot of will power to paint that for long.
    thanks again.
