    Default I have a Z-Axis Stall

a Z-axis stall error code of E06-0324 immediately upon startup.

Have just reassembled the machine after fixing a Z-truck bearing problem (one bearing was not turning very well). While the unit was open I removed and reinstalled the cut motor brushes, removed both Y & Z motors and checked/cleaned gears on the back. Also did a very through clean and lube of the whole unit. Also adjusted the four guide post to improve a slightly low head pressure (now 80#).

I'll take the top off and recheck all the wiring and such, meanwhile any suggestions?

    THANKS

The wires are the most likely suspect. Do a z and y test for more info before you take it apart. Notice if the z truck twitches or not before the stall.

Likely the FFC Cable, the 14 pin cable running power to the Z.

Just found the problem - it was the FFC cable, I must have tugged on it while reinstalling something.

    Thanks

Amazing!!! Trouble reported, diagnosed and repaired in 1 hour, machine up and running. Fortune 5 companies should be so good and this was from forum members volunteering their expertise.
Just want to say thanks guys

    want2be -

You're so right, the member-to-member assistance is tops. Don't think I could be nearly as comfortable with the machine without such support. I've had very good support from Customer Service as well but it's not as timely due to their hours of operation.

And I just got lucky to see the post when I did.... More than a Dozen Members would have chimed in with the same guess and beat me to the punch... Like a dozen trout in a small pool and a insect lands on the surface... we all rush to get to it first...
