Angry Rotary and 1\16" Long Bit

Has anyone been told that the 1/16" long bit is not recommended for rotary carves?

Maybe I missed it and its new to me.

I was starting my 3rd 30mm bullet carve, using the 1/16" after the 5th pass it snapped.

After calling to order a replacement, Chris at LHR tells me that the 1/16" is not recommended for rotary and to use the 1/8"?
    Did I miss something here?

    From the rotary jig page...

Any advanced features used in the Rotary Jig Software Tutorials require purchase or license for those features. You can play with these features in demo mode until purchased. For carvings deeper than .8", you will need the 1/8" long carving bit.

    Look at: http://store.carvewright.com/product...cat=291&page=1

It does say in red that it is not to be used in the rotary jig. (In the bullet files I posted I had the 1/8" deep bit assigned.)

Too bad it broke it. That hurts.
