    when doing the a cpvc pipe do you need the long bit?

    No. You can use the normal carving bit. As long as the bit will reach to the depth you want to carve, I think you are good to go.

    Thanks Dan, it also says to drill a 7/32 hole for the centers... what are the #screw size and length for the two set screws?

    I do not know, I use my own jig which is a little different. Any screws which fit should be ok I think.

    All right, I still thank you for the reply... You being a teacher don't you recieve a discount for it being a learning aid ... you know to get the new and improved stuff...lol
