    Default Need help...

Trying my first lithophane and have read Lithopane (Lithophane) Carving 101 numerous times.
Plus, spent the last three hours trying to comb through the forums.

I have no problem with designer and uploading my project.

My problem is when I go to the machine to carve project.
    I have the material in a sled/carrier.
When the machine is measuring before carving project, it will not measure all the way across.
It stops at the first rail and won't recognize the acrylic.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Please help!

The board sensor is seeing acrylic as being off of the board. Run a strip of masking tape across the width and when you put the sled in the machine make sure the tape is under the sensor below the Z truck. After the machine measures everything you can remove the tape.

    Thank you kindly.
I will give that a go.
Of course, I'm trying to do something for Valentine's for my wife.
It wouldn't be like me, if I wasn't trying to get a project done the last minute.

And why would WE do anything different?
