Default I need help cutting pattern

I have a nice pattern of birds. What I plan on doing is taking the pattern, copping it and flipping it over and joining it to itself over and over again making a long 7" wide baseboard. The only problem I have is when I join up the pattern it has edge's. Does anyone know how to cut off the edge's so the patters can be joined on both sides. What you see below is 4 joined up their their are seems from the edges. do not want seams.

If not, can anyone give it a try and see if they can make a 6.5" wide by 73" long. Only the with is kind of important.

    Thank you so much

I was going to try cleaning up the edges with Pattern Sculptor, but I don't have rights to edit your pattern.

If you are using versions 2 or 3, try turning off floor feather, and if you have pattern editor, try cropping the ends off to get a sharp cut.

Open it in Pattern Editor and save it as an .mpw (artwork) file.

I think to upload a .mpw you have to zip it.

Place your pattern on a virtual board. Place a rectangle around the parts you want to keep and make it a carve region with the same depth as your pattern.. Group the pattern and the rectangle. Apply "Clip Carving: Inclusive" to the pattern. Make the results a pattern.

Excellent idea Steve. There is, however, no need to own the pattern in order to use the clipping idea.
