    Default Did anyone say "Color"

Just playing around today and low and behold it works! Just think of the new possibilities. Of course, I'm the first to state that I'm not a painter nor do I intend to be, but I do feel like an artist making this work. Please excuse the mess on the front of the lithophane, it has been sitting in my shop for several weeks and I can't get off what I spilled on the litho. The picture was of the child eating spaghetti and getting it all over his face, shirt and bib. Click image for larger version.

ID:	74345I just played with the basic colors without any of the proper shading techiques, highlights or using the correct color palette. Maybe, If I continue this avenue I may have a professional painter try her hand at this to see how close she can come to the actual details. She has been teaching painting for over 30 years and works with all mediums.

That looks great. Pictures never do justice to art work so I can only imagine how great it looks in person.

I think picture already attached is with light behind it as you see the unpainted area brighter.
