    Default Sweep:Rounded GUI error

When I am working with the Sweep: Rounded tool and try to get a tight round cone shape (sharp at the bottom) and when I get the shape looking right I get a GUI error and the program closes.

Am I doing something the software does not allow or is there a known problem with this tool in this situation.

I am using software version 3.102

Thank you for any and all help

Can you post the mpc or a screen shot of what you are doing?

You were using circles with nearly zero diameter. That makes the sweep calculation subject to some kind of error. Round off I bet. I made bigger circles and I think it is ok now.

I think a better tool to use would be the Revolve tool. You can control the diameter of the taper a little better.

Thank all of you for your help, both files will help me learn more about the tools the machine uses to complete the tasks.

Again, thank you for your help
