Help with pattern needed.. not the type you might think!

That would work but it still would need to be up-sized and gridded so the papers could be taped together. Ideas on how to do this?

Steve, with a light behind a small cutout of it you could trace it on your board.

That would work Ken but I am looking for a more permanent type of template that could be segmented together like a grid. This would be good incase more folks want it. These are being banned on public property across the country so I wanted something that private folks could have for their yards, etc. The government may run from a fight but that doesn't mean we have to! Something that could be cut out on the CW and assembled then used as a template OR as the actual display itself would be cool. Nice and big too.. Like 4 X 8' worth for the front yard.

Roger, a lot of my thoughts contain "old school" ideas, that is what happens when you are an old-poop.
I wondered, while typing "Alt-2-3-6", in another post just how many people would know what I was talking about.
Those were the days, before the mouse, when you could use character 255 to keep people out of a directory.

The next step is dementia where all ideas are new!

Ken, yeppers, thats old school using "DOS" for commands....before windows were invented, windows meaning Microsoft Operating System. I took DOS back in the late - early 90's....then started with windows 3.1
I understand what Steve is wanting to do and why, it would be very much like a jig saw puzzle. I hope someone can help him out here and make it possible for him.

This is a memorial that is/was on display in a North Carolina town until some anti christian group decided it had to go.

I would like to know if someone here could capture the outline of the soldier, helmut, rifle and cross and make it into a cut path. Then size it up so it will fit on a 4 X 8 sheet of plywood. You would have to break it into squares that could be assembled and taped together to make the pattern. Say 12" wide and 4 or 8 foot long strips of MDF when put together make the full outline that can be then transferred to the plywood and cut out with a jig saw.

I have a good sized yard and would love to have this on display in it. Others may want it as well.
