Been doing a lot of projects for others recently - snuck this one in for me. This TV stand is not identical to others, but as usual when designing a project I did a search to look at others to get inspiration. I decided to use mix some black in with the wood finish, as the TV itself and components are black. The Carvewright was used to cut out the four side support pieces and rout a 1/8" curved slot for a Masonite accent strip.

Current surround sound systems typically use a center channel, small side and rear speakers, and a subwoofer. I do have a pair of small rear speakers, but otherwise I'm using my old-school three-way floor standing speakers with a phantom center channel. No need for a subwoofer with these. I picked up the beveled edge on the front of the speakers as an accent for the TV stand (hard to see in these photos), as well as matching stain color as best I could.

(Sorry for the poor quality photos. My camera has gone haywire and my phone is not up to the task.)
