Default Order of Posts in a Thread

This forum presents a minor irritation to me. When I see a thread title that I like, I click to see the individual postings. The problem that irritates me a bit is that the first post of the thread is the last post I am able to see. If the thread extends over 3 pages, for instance, the first post is the last one on page 3. On the other forums I visit, the first post I see in the thread is the first post on page one. The last post in the thread will be the last post on page three. I prefer to see the first post on the top of the first page.

Is there anywhere I need to go to be able to change this for my personal viewing preference? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all.

Yes there is. Go to "Settings" on the top right hand side of the page then click on "General Settings" on the left hand side. From there go to "Thread Display Mode" and select "Oldest First" then click on save changes at the bottom of the page.

I have often wondered why it is that
Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left".
