    Default Z Axis stall

Another strange event with the machine. After doing two lengthy carves involving thru-the board cut ( 1/8 inch cutting bit) I encountered a Z axis stall on the third project.

After reloading two or three times, I continued to get the same message, Carvewright told me it was either the cut motor or the FCC 9?)cable.
So rather than ordering the cable, I did a simple project involving a text pattern and a 3/8 inch keyhole slot. That worked with no stall.

I edited the pattern and eliminated the thru-the-board cut and everything went as it should.

But my inquisitive nature asks why?

    Any ideas.

What was the machine in process of when you got the error message?

You might try reformatting the card and reload the project.
