A quick question on 3.0
I'm contemplating an upgrade for my Xmas present this year, but i have one question: Will my existing add-ons to 1.0 be grandfathered into the upgrade? Here is a quote from the 3.0 FAQ:
Will all of my previously purchased software, patterns & projects work in 3?
Yes, all previous project and pattern files will work in 3. Please note: projects saved in 3 are not backward compatible and cannot be reopened in earlier versions.
It does not mention software, i.e, add-ons, only patterns and projects. The upgrade is not cheap, but if I have to add on the extras as well, then i may have to hold off till I win the lottery.
i sent a message to sales as I want to get the Thanksgiving discount, but no answer yet. Does anyone know the answer before I place the order?
