Just for information
I was asked to make an oval walnut table top. I layed it out as an oval on the virtual board and let exactly half go off the board so i could get get carvewright to do this in 2 pieces and i would glue them together later. A great plan. Everything carved and routed just as i wanted. But oops, they did not match up, an inch off. One longer than the other, exact same pattern. Then i realized i made a bad choice on the machine set up.. the boards were different lengths and on the second carve i answered yes to scale to board. I just got complacent on answering the set up questions. I learned something here. Just reminding everyone to pay close attention to what the machine is asking. Iam from now on.
By the way, i did some adjusting and creative table saw work and got it to line up but it was an inch narrower than originally wanted, but luckily the customer didnt mind.
