    Default spray stain

Has anyone used this Krylon Spray stain advocated by this video? It looks like a very nice solution for signs if it works as well as he says.

Home Depot doesn't sell Krylon. Who does, and who sells the stain?

Wal.Mart carries Krylon. Now, whether they carry the stain I don't know. Local grocery stores and sometimes Ace Hardware also carries Krylon.

I just bought some at ACE hardware. It is a semi transparent stain. Seems like a regular deck stain maybe? Only colors I could find were rustic brown, redwood and honey.

I am wondering if we stain and clear coat the plain wood, then carve it, could we then spray the carved area and wipe off the un-carved surface? Using this stuff in the carved areas probably won't bleed like regular oil stain.

I'll have to try it some time on some of my carvings & other things that I build.

Does look like something that may not cause the blotching problem that usually comes with pine, poplar etc. Definitely worth a look.
