That is truly a work of art. Wow.
Mike...I'm always awed by the work you produce. An excellent carving. What did you use to light the top portion of the mirror?

Pure artistry. You, Sir, have more talent in your little finger than I in my whole being.

I am sure you will get lots of brownie points from your wife, and they are much deserved.

The mightiest oak in the forest is just a little nut
that held it's ground.
Thank you.
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Thank you. I didn't really keep track of my time after carving the grapes and vines on the bottom part that was around 40 hours, probably somewhere around 100 to 125 hours total, building the frame and mantle and all the carving.
I got the pattern from carvingpatterns.com specifically it's the Mule & Whitetail deer pattern package, though I did modify it a bit (added to both sides to make it longer). It's just a drawing, not a carvewright pattern.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Thank you.
Thank you. The drawn pattern is available from carvingpatterns.com it isn't a carvewright pattern.
I appreciate that.
Thank you.
Thanks Sharon, there is an LED strip light in the top shelf that comes on when you pull the bottom left "grape" there is also a light strip under the shelf that comes on when you pull the right grape.
Thanks for that, I think I got it right now.
Thank you.
Thank you, but I doubt that.
One can hope Na, she appreciates me, most of the time
Thank you.
Actually my shop is such a mess I had to get it installed and get it out for room for other projects so I'll probably have to come up with something else for Xmass now.
Got the mirror glass installed last night. Got it hung up this afternoon.
Thank you all for taking the time to reply so kindly.
Thanks ~Mike
