How do I make a plug with taper like cone shape. .75 top 1.25 bottom Using one inch board to cut it from. Thanks Bert I can make a carve region like that,now but I need to make a plug out of a different board to fill it I tried to flip feather but that didn"t work

I think this is what you are looking for. I used the Sweep tool but, I can't seem to extend the depth to the bottom of a 1" thick board. Even setting the pattern bit to the 1/8" long ball nose doesn't seem to work. Using a .75" thick board seems to work okay.

EDIT: Extending the angled line in the sweep tool slightly below the bottom of the board seems to work.
