    Default A Special Litho

A good friend of mine lost his wife recently and is having a get together today to celebrate her life. It is a potluck dinner and since I can't cook worth beans and my bride wasn't able to be with me on this trip to the lake, I decided to do something else. I carved him a litho out of a picture that I know he cherishes. I borrowed the idea that was posted here earlier of getting a shadow box from the Hobby Lobby and had an LED strip and power supply left over from another project that I installed. I hope he likes this better than something burnt that I would have cooked.

You just won "#1 Guy of the Day" award....first for the excellent lithophane and second for being a good friend.

    John,

Yes it is MUCH better than your cooking and am sure your friend will enjoy having it.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I just returned from the event and the litho was a big hit with my friend. It certainly feels good to be able to help someone get through a tough time even in a small way. Another great reason to have Carvewrights in my shop.
