    Great work Ed those look much better than the new hot bow tie's! You have a great skill at making patterns.

    I have not made one. I was inspired by Al's post and thought that many of the forum users might want to try it out. I've never worn a bow-tie in my life. (And the only long tie I wore was in the Army) But, I think I will carve one and wear it to the Doctors office sometime, with a denim shirt and jeans. (he will want it, I'm sure)
