Default How to carve a 16 bit image?

    Hello
My Grandson is really into Minecraft. I do not know much about it other than the graphics are 16 bit. He would like a Minecraft sword carved on his headboard. I have included a picture of a Minecraft sword. I have Designer 2.0. with centerline. Any sugestions would be appreciated. I will share the finished project.

I'm not sure this is what you are wanting, but if it will work for your project, here it is.

Ok I am one step or two closer. Have the design and tomorrow I carve.
Ed if you don't mind my I asking how you made the pattern from my image? I tried import and it was nowhere near what you came up with. I even tried using CAD but that did not get what I wanted.

I enlarged the picture. Vectorized it, Converted it to grayscale. Did a lot of work in Gimp with it, (tutorials are on youtube on making a pattern for cnc) Imported it into designer cleaned, smoothed, cut edges, and then sent it to designer to make the pattern.

Wow thanks for all that effort!
I still have not carved it yet as I have been under the weather. But I will post when I get it carved.
