Default First project…Navy Professional Aviation Maintenance Officer

First off, I need to thank Chief2007 for his patience in answering a couple dozen questions as I attempted to pull off this first project. I actually bought the PAMO warfare pen carving from him a while back. I mentioned I was a woodworker and he recommended I look into the Carvewright. Months later, here I am!

So a little about this project. The Navy PAMO warfare device is worn by aviation maintenance officers who have completed specific requirements that takes a minimum of 4 years to earn. The wrench is to represent the "maintenance" aspect of the position. The base has 1/4' slots to hold challenge coins. Challenge coins have become popular over the years for trading between different commands, services, ect. It is also common for officers and senior enlisted to give coins away as recognition for doing a good job.

Nice work. If you do that well on the first project you will be impressing the rest of us in no time.
