Default A couple of my latest projects

Thought I would post up a couple of my latest projects using my CW, the first one is a custom Cinema sign using some chrome rings, the circles are around 8" in diameter, carved from MDF and finished in enamel.

The second project is a custom Ipad 4 dock for a client, made the original out of MDF, primed and sanded smooth. I then took the piece and made a silicon mold of it and cast the finished pieces out of urethane plastic. Yu can really do some cool things with this machine.

    Beautiful work RobertP

The Cinema sign is immaculate. Is the iPad 4 case you cast in urethane made in one piece or two shells and then glued together? Thanks

Sorry I didnt respond to this Capt Bruce!!!!

The Ipad dock front piece was made from a one piece casting, and the back is a 1/4" cast acrylic sheet that I laser cut then attached it with machine screws.

    Thank you RobertP,

That makes it easier to understand your process to achieve that. Well done.

Oh, My Gosh how great... where in the world did you happen to find the chrome rings.. what an excellent way to highlight the carved lettering. The enamel stands out great. Any how theater would love to have a set of these. Great job.
