2.XXX and Add-Ons

I'm on the verge of upgrading to 2.006 and have tried researching my question but I fear my search terms are not getting the results I had hoped. My question is can I use my 2D/3D/DXF importer add-ons with the demo version? If so, how do I do it? Do I need to activate the add-on licenses in 2.XXX? If I can't use them in demo mode, will I be able to use them if I purchase a new license?

I'm sure this concern has been asked before, just can't find the info with a search.

I believe that if your running 2.xxxx in demo mode then all of the features will be in demo mode. If you upgrade (purchase) 2.006 all of your current add on software will run once you activate the features after getting 2.006 licensed.

Hmmmm. Thanks for the answer Floyd. Wanted to see what the new text puffing feature looked like but my 3D tools (and all others) aren't available in the demo mode of 2.xxxx

OK senior moment. Forgot you needed to select an element before the features became available! Long day today, at least that's my excuse!
