Thread: broken feed tray height adjustment

    Default broken feed tray height adjustment

    the bolt head and thread broke off on the adjustment for the feed tray


    any suggestions on how to proceed

    the feed tray is not level now

    cant run job

    cant remove bolt

    I never did rely on those bolts, they seemed to fragile.
    I have a 1 X 3 (or 1 X 4) turned on edge to support the roller.

    If I had it to do over, I'd have supports as part of the cabinet.

    did you remove the feed tray or keep it on

    I added my own adjusting blocks not because I broke any but because mine are easier to adjust and more stable. Might work for you.

    Your adjusting blocks are a great idea! I sure will put it to use. Much easier to work with. Thanks for your idea.
