Default Restore project from memory card?

I need to restore a project from the memory card back into Designer. We upgraded to Windows7 and lost my recent projects on our hard drive. But, I had this one project on the memory card and would like to get it back into Designer. Is this possible??

It is not possible. The project is "compiled" into machine instructions when written to the card. All you can do is re-carve the project using what was uploaded to the card.

Sadly, no. It's like trying to separate the ingredients of a cake after they are all blended together.

Darn...I don't remember the exact dimensions in board settings...it was a big project. I will be starting over from scratch it seems.

Food for thought. Won't a data recovery service be able to retrieve that data?

    Hi Rick.

When you insert the card into your CW and open that project it is going to list your dimensions.

I helped one other user carve his project and then we scanned it to recreate the pattern so he could edit it further after the original file was lost in a similar manner on a crashed harddrive.

All is not lost, just one format of the plan but you still have a copy ready to carve so do it
