    Default Truck hits cut motor

I just installed a Carvetight. Now when the truck goes over the cut motor, the black cap that covers the encoder hits the top of the cut motor. I have tried to adjust the truck with the 2 mounting screws, but it still hits.

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

did you tighten the allen screw on top all the way down ?

Yes, I reviewed the video in some detail 3 times.

Yes, I tightened the top allen screw all the way down.

As I look at it, it would appear that the Z axis belt is slightly too short and this keeps the motor too low and the cover whacks the cut motor.

    Ideas?

Normally, these motors just miss. They are very close. Could it really be the belt? I would check for other causes. Cut motor really bolted all the way down? Z motor pack bolted square? If you really blame the belt, could you not switch to the old belt?
