Thread: Y axis stall

    Default Y axis stall

    I start a carve, measurement, bit load and board sensing goes as expected. The carve starts and when the bit begins to cut I get a y axis stall.

    I did a cut motor test, OK. I do a y axis test and get these numbers:
    M=256
    a= (multiple tests) 63.68, 45.05, 41.60, 50.50

    When the y axis test is closest to the keyboard, I get a vibration that goes away as the truck moves to the other side.

    Ideas?

    With the power off, slide the Y truck across. Is it freely of does it bind? Has it been 250 hours since you rebuilt the Y gear box?
