    Default What a deal

Found this on Craigs List today.. I wish I had room for it.
Hardwood Maple Scraps - $350 (Withee)

8 pallets (4' x 4' x 5' tall) of raw (unfinished) hardwood maple scraps for sale. Scraps themselves are all 1 3/4" thick, and vary in size from 6"wide x 30"long, to 18"wide x 30"long. Would be great project lumber for cutting boards, butcher blocks, filet boards, bird houses, etc. First $350 takes everything. Please call Kevin at (715) 773-0446 if interested.

That would be nice. I would make the room for it if I only had enough money to ship it up here and to buy it.

A good place to look for end cuts is your local sawmill, they have endcuts from production that are 2sides square and dried ( not warped or twisted) we have a local furniture cabinet company that sells out palletts of maple and oak. Hellers in Montpelier Ohio if anyone is close.

I just talked to Kevin the one that is selling the wood, he said that he is up by Warsaw ,Wisconsin and he is moving to Florida. ( image that)...but anyway I was going to Ohio and it is a 10 hr. drive more to Wisconsin adding another 20 hrs. to the trip needless to say I'm not going to Wisconsin..
