Yes, new update. Just let the software go where it defaults to.

How do you know if the 2.004 is updated with 2.005 ......when you open the window for the new version shouldn't it read in the 2.005 instead of saying 2.004, I can't read anything on the forum it tells me to update to new version ?

When you go to the "help" tab and "about" in designer what does it show? If 2.004 then you did not get your update done.

No, you don't have to uninstall. It will install over 2.004.

No you do not need to uninstall 2.004.
Make sure you have designer closed out and then go to where you downloaded 2.005 on your computer (probably "downloads") and double click on the file to start the install.
