Step cut in around patterns

I have done some tests and it is seems to be a 1.187 bug caused by bit optimization which is not in 2.0.

1.187 with 1.187 firmware - step cut edge

2.0 with 1.187 firmware - sharp edge

Sorry but I think you will have to live with it until you upgrade.

Instead of using a cut path try using a pierced carving. I'm not sure what you are trying to do but, a pierced carving will eliminate the step. I have included an example using the path offset and just a drawn shape for the pierced carve region.
