    Default floating rubber wooden duck

Lawrence posted this rubber duck last year I made one and tried to float it and it was top heavy and kept rolling over so I modified it and haven't made another one but I am looking for opinions to see if you think it will float.. I never had one when I was young for the bathtub....singing...."rubber ducky your the one"....

Cut a low pocket for a 1 0z. fishing weight that you glue or epoxy in before assembling. Make sure you center it between the two inner slices so it will float level. Or maybe use two weights - one for each inner slice. I'm certain the design has plenty of buoyancy to keep high on the water even with a couple of ounces of lead.
This design may float upright but it still won't be terribly stable since the lightening holes are all above the water line. In other words, the holes are lighter than water, but not lighter than air so it won't provide as much stability as extra weight down low.
