    Default Thomas the Train Table

I carved something other than a sign for a change.
This is in MDF. The end panels took 2 hours each and the side panels 20 minutes.
I got the MDF in 2 foot by 4 foot sheets, and made the whole table so I could take it apart.
I will be making trains and cars and also track for the table. Each train I make will be a different branch in our family tree. Each person in that line will have their name on a car.
This is an heirloom gift for my grandson.

The wooden trees I cut with my scrollsaw. I got the Thomas pattern from the forum put a texture behind it for the rocks. The side panels are vector based and the train tracks in the middle arch is a font.

Carl, can I come over to your house to play? What a wonderful idea and certainly different than making signs.... great job.
