    Default 3d tools

This web site has a lot of 3d tools for your use. Most are free, but all take some time to learn. The rendering software is very good, I am not that good at it yet but I am starting to use it.
What I wanted to point out is the tutorials. Bottom right is a download link. This will download a 141 self extracting file of PDF tutorials covering from start to finish of cnc work. From creating 3d objects using gimp, to tool paths and stl tool paths. Even those of you experienced with using tool paths will find some interesting information in this area.

If you really want to learn how to make patterns, this is a great place to start, take your time and go through it learning as you go.

Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.
