Default Which font would be best for this type of carve???

A friend of mine has asked to carve the attached plaque for his son in the navy. It is a simple carve but would like suggestions on the best type of font to use so the letters are not to thin and break.

Any font with thicker lines should do - just don't carve too deep. This is carved to about 1/8" using a font named Propoganda available at 1001freefonts.com. However, using this font on this small a board, it looks like some cleaning up would need to be done on some of the letters. Thinner letters or deeper carve you can always add a little draft to increase strength.

Bookman bold is a good thick serif font that I use all the time.

Try AR Julian Font - I set the text spacing at 8 - small draft. I would carve it at optimal

This Text block size is about 10 x 3 and looks clean.

    Chief,

I really appreciate your help. I found the font insert it in Bold, spaced it at 8 and line spaced it at 15. Font size was around 60. Problem is the A's are not carved in the middle and the quotations are together. I really liked the way yours turned out. Could you give more details on Font size, etc..? I am new at this but plugging away. Thanks!!!!
