    Default drill bits for the er-20

    I'm needing 1/8 carving bits for my machine I was wanting to know what was best to use on it is there different number on how many flutes and what is the best to use, the last one I bought didn't last long that is why I am asking..Thank you...

    I think you also mean ER11. Anyway, I just bought a pile of these:

    I ordered a bunch of them, do you have something like that for the 1/8 c.a.r.v.i.n.g bits ?

    but they are 6 mm shanks and you have to buy 10. They would fit in the ER11 with the 1/4" collet but if one was serious, a 6 mm collet would be best.

    bergerud will they work good for drilling holes for cribbage boards. I think it would be worth trying.

    Sure these will do anything the CW 1/8" cutting bit will do but the shanks are short. You would need the ER11M adapter or some other way to hold them.

    Thanks good to know I did one cribbage board and found the bit was a little hot and yes I have the er11M adapter.
