    We are closing the phones down a little early this evening to get ready for New Year's Eve.

    We went to an old people's New Years party. The ball drops in Times Square at 9 California time. We say Happy New Year then, clink our plastic glasses of sparkling cider, then go home and to bed. There is good food (pot luck) and friendship first.
