    Default probe vibrations?

This is my first scan attempt.. I put a .06 shim for the probe to see when it was finding start and finish positions. All is going ok But the Yaxis has vibrations while going back and forth, and it is riding on the tile Not .06 high is this normal??? Thanks Mike

The "vibrations" during a scan is fairly normal as it is the truck moving to insure it is making contact with the scan item.

To set the scan depth you should do that after you set your start/stop positions. You arrow down to set the scan depth. This is usually done so the probe in not making contact with the scanning sled.
