Hello to all my name is john Riding i live in orem utah and just bought a CW from a friend that had it and never used . My wife and i started a small wood craft business and am very excited to hopefully get some help with my CW he didnt have siftware with it and only one card so it looks like i will be purchasing all the needed things and hope i can figure it all out. After being a finish contractor for 18 yrs im falling behind with just my dewalt scroll saw. So im sure i will have MANY questions and i want to thank everyone in advance...

    John,

Welcome to the CarveWright! Take some time and visit the support section on the main CarveWright site and start viewing and reading the tutorial software and tips and tricks. And of course ask away here!

Welcome John! My first suggestion is to not make it more complicated than it is. I had a tendency to over think things! Also, do NOT assume that the machine will 'take care' of things automatically.. i.e.: bit depth of cut per pass. You will have to pat attention to these details when having the machine cut things or rout things. That seems like they are going against each other but they really are not.

Let us know how we can help!
