    Default How to manage Patterns?

I have a good number of Patterns, that some forum members had been kind & thoughtful enough to share with me. But I cannot find out how to set the same, categorical, folder structuring of those patterns into my Designer (1.187) program. I searched as best I could, but could find nothing to direct me.

I think most people do not save the patterns in Designer, too many patterns will slow the program down. I just save them on a file in the computer or a cd.

Good enough. I hadn't considered the slow-down that something like this might cause to the program.

I like to store my patterns in files with the MPC, PTN, MPW and the + & - images in a grayscale format with a Screen Print of the MPC, when I make my patterns. This makes it easy for me to find my patterns when I need them.
Saving the folders on CD and DVD's work great, I also use USB hard drives, you can delete and re-save files on a USB drive.

    B J,

That is a neat way of storing them. You spent a lot of time on doing that.

I ned to do something like that, but it seems to be a daunting task at this point.
