Default CompuCarve sale - sometimes you win, sometimes you lose

After seeing my original CompuCarve sitting in my shop unused while just
using my newer one, I posted it for sale. The buyer didn't pay all the
shipping, but it was close - just a small lose.

A week or so ago, someone near me posted a CompuCarve for sale for $50.
I sent him a pm saying I was local and would bring him a card to use to get
information off the machine if he wanted since he had no card.

A few days ago, he called and asked if I was interested in buying the machine.
Since I had already started feeling the lose of the machine, and I could always
use the parts, I said yes.

Picked it up today - an A machine with the new Y bundle, never used!
There was nothing but the bare machine, but it seems to be in good shape.
The ball on the hand-crank was missing and it showed 20 minutes on the cut-motor.
Probably never was able to raise and lower the head. So, this was a definate win.

Glad someone got it. I tried but seller did not respond to me. He did update his post that someone closer was buying the machine.

Thank you all for your comments.
I wasn't sure what I was buying, turned out very well.

I have a 1/2" Rock chuck that I had intended to put on the machine that I sold.
Perhaps I'll put it on this machine although I seldom use 1/2" shank bits anymore.

I guess I'm going to have to build that better CarveWright base I was supposed to build several years ago.
I'm getting too old for this!

Glad it went to you! Like others, I tried to contact him, and told him I would come pick it up... No response. So with tongue in cheek (only joking) You suck!
