Thread: Question

  1. Default Question

    Hi All,

I am trying to save a piece and I am getting: This project uses features that can not be scaled? Scaling by the Carvewright machine will be disabled?????? I have no clue what this means, can someone send me an answer?

As always I really appreciate the forum and the help you give me.

    Thanks

Did you use the Drill function at all? (And generally you want to avoid scaling anyways, so it probably fairly safe to ignore)

I just saw this message on a small piece I was making.
My thought was that it was just letting me know that the firmware would
not allow me to scale the project if the measurements didn't match.

Just continue the upload and know that scaling will not occur.
    Anyway, that was my experience.

You probably have a conforming vectors applied to part of your design. This is a normal prompt that comes up with this feature. Just hit continue and let it upload. Just remember if at the machine if it asks about scaling say no.

It would ask for scaling at the machine if your design board is smaller than the board you are carving on..

Thanks, That makes sense since I just added the conforming vectors. I appreciate your help.

Not a problem if your board is big enough or too big. If your project calls for a 5 1/4 board and yours is 5 3/16, change the size in the project file or get the correct size board.
