arranging a cut out

i was trying some experiments earlier. had an idea for a toy electric motor. i cut them out individualy. i was wondering if one were to align the cut lines it could take some of the stress off of the machine and make it cut faster. any thoughts? here is a sample of my idea

I tried a similar process and kept getting errors when I tried to load the project onto the card. Changed it back to leave 1/2" or so between and it worked fine.

Set up like that it will still go through all of the cuts (if it accepts it since the common lines will cause problems with the tabs), so it will not save time.
