I just sat here for the last 2 hrs. trying to make a simple pattern, I had used the tracing image file and had watched the tutorial another 2 times I had finished the pattern on tracing it and wanted to group the rainbow and the coins in a different groups and try to puff the rainbow when I was trying to group the rainbow the computer crashed, should I have group them as I went ? and there where points in the pattern that I needed to trim do what do I do to trim those unwanted spots. thanks for your help .

Double vertex on the top right of the ray which looks lost. Drag one of them off of the other.

Its art. Play around. Try flipped feathers or an inverted bubble under it all?? Just play.

my first pattern, took me 14hrs. to get it, how would I get the out side edge to make a rounded sweep? I had to shrink the pattern to get it on the forum I don't know how else to do it.

aokweld, take a look at this post http://forum.carvewright.com/showthr...Height-pattern it gives you the heights for each gray. Then change the colors to the gray you want for the height, then add some blur to round the edges. (pot of gold)
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.
