    Unhappy designer 1.126 to 1.185?

The last time i updated my software i had/have 1.126. How is my obviously older machine going to handle the new firmware and changes, if any. My machine runs smoothly now, skeptical about updating. Any input would be appreciated. Been a looong time since ive been on the forum.
    Still using 1.120 & 1.126

You should have no problem upgrading to 1.185 from 1.126. The age of your machine has little to do with the software. The same controller. What I do is change the sub directory name of my old version before I install a new version just so I can go back if I want.

Make sure you remove the old version through your control panel first.

Why are you saying to remove the old program first through the control panel? I have never done that. Does that not take out the sub directory where the patterns are stored? Sorry, but I do not want to give people the wrong advice. Is there a reason to do this?

When I install new versions, I either save the old version by changing the C:\Program Files\CarveWright sub directory name or by just letting the install write over the old version.
