Has anyone ever carved with cedar. Are there any problems? This will be my first carve
in cedar and I was just wondering if there are any problems that I should be aware of.
Thanks John

Aromatic cedar carves very well with little clean up. Western Red Cedar is much softer and leaves more "fuzzies". The only problem I have had is when sanding it is very easy to sand too much and leave an indentation in the wood.
Dale, thanks for your information... soon to be carving. Thanks John
And make sure you have good ventilation as your shop will get very aromatic..
