    Default Probe repair

    Has anyone had the probe apart?
    Wires are broke can I repair.

    You should be able to solder them back together...

    The way I look at things like that if it isn't working... try to fix it if it doesn't work.. oh well wasn't working anyway.. if you fixed it GREAT...

    Did the probe spin up? ripping the wires or is it just not indicating?

    I had seen some posts about cleaning the contacts with Contact Cleaner and remember one about soldering.

    I got it apart and got solder on the bad spot. Looks like it is working. the wire hit on old head and pulled it lose from joint.
