    Default First "Large" Carving done and painted

    Okay, this sign is only 22" in diameter, but its my first stitch carving. It was a fairly easy process after its all said and done, just have to give a big thanks to this forum for providing all the how to info!

    Beautiful! Can't see the joint at all. It's nice to see that kind of attention to detail, especiallly for the first time.

    Thanks guys!

    Robert, I used a copper hammertone paint on this and then antiqued it with a stippling method using enamel paint, quite a tedious task.

    That looks great. Well done. I hope my first big carving comes out half as good.
